The First Event  a German Pacific Society and
    PISUKI publication recorded the first meeting of the
    Society in 1981



    On 21st June 2014    A Pacific Family Picnic
    was held in the grounds of the Kiribati Honorary Consulate,
    The Great House, Penpergwm, Monmouthshire,
     a joint event between the South Wales and Midlands areas of the Pacific Islands Society and the Kiribati Tungaru Association. 


    On 24th  May 2014  the  Society's AGM took place at New Zealand House, Haymarket, London.
    The guest speaker was HE Mrs Winnie Kiap, High Commissioner for Papua New Guinea.

    On 4th March 2014 there was tour of the "Chiefs and Governors; Art and Power in Fiji" exhibition at the Museum of  Archaeology and Anthropology, Cambridge

    On 19th  December 2013
    The PISUKI Christmas Party  2013
    took place at St Philip's Church, Earls Court Road, London,
    Profits from this event went to Children of Fiji,
    UK Registered Charity

    Edwin Smith Memorial Lecture

    was delivered by HE Solo N. Mara, High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji at the rooms of The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (UK Branch), Westminster     


    On 20th  June 2013  at  St Philip's Church a Showing took place of  "Bikpela Bagarap (Big Damage):  The Human Face of Logging in Papua New Guinea "

     On  6 July 2012  the  Edwin Smith Memorial Lecture was delivered at  the Inter-Parliamentary Union Room,

     On 26 November  2011     The 30th Anniversary Event    A drinks party in the Garden Room, the Grosvenor Chapel,  Mayfair, London. This event marked the founding of the
